2G Spectrum in India involved the issue of 1232 license by ruling congress led UPA alliance of 2G Spectrum of 85 companies including many new telecom companies with little or no experiences in the telecoms sector at the price set in the year of 2011.

The scam involved allegation regarding:-
  1. under the pricing of 2G spectrum by departement of telecommunication which result incurred of heavy losses to exchequer.
  2. the illegal manipulation of the spectrum allocation process to favour select companies.
The issue of 2G scam came into light after auction of airwaves for 3G services.

DELHI METRO GETS UN CERTIFICATION, EARNS RS 47 CR CARBON CREDITS.

Delhi metro has been certified by the united nation as the first metro rail based system in the world to get carbon credit for contributing to the fight against the climate change by the the help of reducing pollution level in the city by 6.3 lacs every year. The organization has also earned carbon credit worth Rs 47cr annually for next seven year.
